Nondestructive Testing Capabilities

Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI)

Detects surface-breaking cracks and defects using dye penetrant and UV light.  Ideal for aluminum, magnesium, and other non-porous materials used on aircraft structures and components.

Eddy Current Testing (ECT)

Identifies surface and near-surface flaws, including cracks and corrosion, in conductive materials.  Used extensively for skin panels, fastener holes, and high-stress metallic areas.

Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)

Reveals discontinuities in ferromagnetic components using magnetic fields and iron particles.  Commonly applied to landing gear elements, engine mounts, and steel structures.

Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

Uses high-frequency sound waves to detect internal cracks, delamination, and thickness changes. Essential for structural inspections during heavy maintenance and redelivery projects.
